DCCC is a self-governing evangelical church which began on February 5th, 1984, when twenty Christians met in the Duncraig/Sorrento Recreation Centre. With encouragement from parent churches, they met to set up a new church in the Duncraig district. Over the following years the Lord blessed the church and gave growth; resulting in the coffee lounge becoming inadequate. In 1998 the church relocated to its current location following the provision of land and God’s constant blessing through the period of building. To this day, Duncraig Christian Community Church (DCCC) is associated with the Christian Community Churches of Australia.
