What is Clans?

As Australian families who are living in the hustle bustle, it is important to slow down and do "life together" as God's family (Hebrews 10:25). Clans is the place - especially for Young Families - where we can eat together, fellowship, and talk about God's word. Or in other words: "A food-fellowship-study".

What's happening this year?

When Jesus said, "take heart, for I have overcome the world," Jesus was pointing us towards His victory in and amongst this seemingly overbearing world. With this in mind, this year we are exploring how Jesus' victory can be seen and experienced amidst seemingly insurmountable struggles.

Be Still Night

Life is busy. And church on Sunday is typically no different. Church can be loud, stressful (if you have kids), rigid in its schedule, and information heavy; with many coming away from church (often) feeling more exhausted than they were before. Yet an important component of the Christian life is to slow down, rest in quietness with God (Isaiah 30:15), surrender ourselves in humility before Him (James 4:10), and be still (Psalm 46:10). In the upcoming ‘Be Still’ Night, we don’t want to provide another church service but provide a space – particularly for those who need rest (parents, that’s you) – to surrender before God, slow down, and rest in His presence.
