Pastor of Ministries
Duncraig Christian Community Church (DCCC) is an evangelical, biblical, and Christ-centered church. Led by a group of Elders and Ministry Leaders, we desire to be authentic in our faith, relationships, and actions so that the people of Duncraig and surrounding areas may Discover God, Become His Child, Join His Family and Be God’s Light to the world.

Duncraig Christian Community Church is part of the CCCAust network. Located in Duncraig WA, we have our own  contemporary building and a Village of 12 
independent living villas that form an integral part of our mission.

We are seeking to appoint, a Pastor of Ministries, who with three other staff members, is committed to serving our church community.

The right person will be called to the ministry and will take the lead role in pastoral care with a broad skill set and experience to complement other areas of DCCC’s ministry. The position will be part-time, (25 hours/week, including 4 hours on Sunday).
There is scope to negotiate some aspects of the position, but the following provides an overview of what the pastor of ministries role entails.

Role Summary – Under the direction of the Elders
To provide -
1. Pastoral Care
2. Spiritual Leadership
3. Administrative Support to Elders

Pastoral Care:
1. Pastoral Care to DCCC, that will include counselling, mentoring and discipleship.
2. Develop a Pastoral Care Team.
3. Facilitate the ‘Welcome’ of new members.

Spiritual Leadership:
1. Implementation of the Strategic direction as determined by the Elders to the
DCCC Community.
2. Encouragement to staff that stimulates growth in Christian values.
3. Representation of DCCC at Parachurch ministries and Christian Networks.
4. Responsible person for the incorporated body, DCF Inc and its Australian
Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) responsibilities.

Administrative Support to Elders:
1. Oversight of the Administration of DCF Inc. (Church & Village).
2. Management of the Facilities and Buildings.
3. Financial Oversight of Budget.
4. Preparation for meetings as required by the Chairman of Elders.

Salary will be negotiated using the Baptist Churches WA recommended renumeration levels based on experience and qualifications.

Where applicable, Exempt Benefits will be available to a maximum 50% of gross salary.
